The purpose of this group is to share resources within the community that support the educational development of children and young adults with special needs. The organizers are a team of parents and professionals who have tremendous experience in advocacy, parent support, child friendly event planning, and advancement through the educational process.

The San Diego County Chapter of the Autism Society of America (SDASA), a non-profit organization, originated in 1966 as the National Society of Autistic Children.
